BOSTON — A man has been charged in connection with a shooting in Roxbury earlier this month that left one person injured, police said Monday.

Christopher Meade, 30, of Malden, is facing charges of unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a building.

The shooting occurred around 3:51 a.m. on Dec. 4, when officers were called to the area of 48 Clifford Street for reports of a person shot.

They found a victim with multiple gunshot wounds, who was then transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
