Rockingham woman faces multiple charges following domestic dispute

ROCKINGHAM — A Readsboro woman was charged with domestic assault, unlawful trespass, and violation of conditions of release after Vermont State Police responded to a domestic dispute late on Nov. 23.

Responding to a call at 11:01 p.m., police arrived at a residence on Meeting House Road in Rockingham.

The investigation revealed that 38-year-old Ashlee Riddle was the perpetrator of the violations.

Riddle initially evaded law enforcement, prompting authorities to issue an arrest warrant.

She appeared in court on Dec. 7, where she was released under specific conditions, one of which required her to report to the Westminster Barracks for processing.

Complying with her release conditions, Riddle was processed and fingerprinted at the Westminster Barracks on Dec. 14.

The Vermont State Police have withheld the identity of the victim in accordance with policies protecting individuals involved in domestic violence or sexual assault cases.
