FAIR HAVEN — John M. Partch, a 52-year-old Fair Haven resident, was arrested on Dec. 14 following an investigation into a domestic assault reported last month.

Fair Haven Police were called to a residence on Washington Street on Nov. 3 after receiving a domestic dispute call.

The investigation revealed that Partch had thrown objects at the victim and made threats of harm.

It was also determined that Partch had previously been released under specific conditions due to numerous charges including Domestic Assault, Simple Assault on a Police Officer, Reckless Endangerment, Criminal Threatening, and Unlawful Mischief.

Authorities discovered that Partch had violated these conditions of release and had also breached a relief from abuse order which prohibited him from contacting the victim.

Despite this order, Partch was found at the victim’s residence on Dec. 14 and taken into custody.

Following his arrest, Partch was transported to Rutland Regional Medical Center for undisclosed reasons.

He was subsequently issued a citation to appear in Rutland District Court on Dec. 15 to respond to charges of Domestic Assault, three counts of Violation of Conditions of Release, and Violation of a Relief from Abuse Order.
