DOVER — Chief William Breault of the Dover Police Department announced the arrest of a suspect in connection with a burglary at The Bearded Man Barbershop earlier this month.

On the night of Dec. 10, at approximately 10:18 p.m., police officers responded to a call at 577 Central Avenue, where they found a shattered window and cash missing from the barbershop’s register.

The suspect, identified as 27-year-old Stephon Thomas of Dover, was quickly located thanks to video evidence and the execution of a search warrant.

Thomas, who was already facing charges for a theft on Dec. 9, was arrested on Dec. 14 after detectives obtained a warrant.

He has been refused bail and is currently being held at the Strafford County Jail.

The Dover Police Department is encouraging anyone with additional information about the incident to come forward and assist in the ongoing investigation.
