Westford police seek suspects in snake theft at Petco

WESTFORD — The Westford Police Department is on the hunt for three suspects following the theft of a Colombian Red Tailed Boa from the local Petco store at 11 Cornerstone Square.

Authorities reported the incident occurred Tuesday at around noon when a male suspect allegedly extracted the snake from its habitat while two female accomplices distracted a store employee.

The police department has released photos of the trio and is seeking assistance from the public to identify them.

The Westford Police Department reminds the public that all individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
