Suspect impersonates Walmart employee, steals car in Hooksett

HOOKSETT — The Hooksett Police Department is investigating a vehicle theft that took place Dec. 10 at the local Walmart.

According to the authorities, the suspect, who was caught on video surveillance, donned a fluorescent vest resembling those worn by Walmart employees.

It was later confirmed by the officials that the individual was not an employee of the store.

The vehicle was reportedly locked, and the owner had left the keys with their belongings inside the Walmart.

The suspect managed to acquire the keys and drive off with the vehicle.

The police have released a photograph of the suspect obtained from the surveillance footage and are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the individual.

Furthermore, the Hooksett Police Department urges the public to report any details related to criminal activity to the Concord Regional Crimeline at (603) 226-3100.
