MANCHESTER — Manchester Police have made arrests in connection with two jewelry store thefts that occurred last month at Days Jewelers on March Ave.

The first incident took place on Nov. 20 when an employee reported a man asking to see a gold chain and then walking out of the store with it.

Through investigation, police identified the suspect as 23-year-old Kevin Donnelly of Manchester.

Donnelly was arrested and has been charged with Theft by Unauthorized Taking.

Days Jewelers fell victim to a similar crime just three days later, on Nov. 25.

Utilizing snatch-and-grab tactics once again, a gold chain was stolen.

Police identified 28-year-old Drae-Shawn Hernandez of Manchester as the suspect.

Hernandez was located and arrested, facing the same charge of Theft by Unauthorized Taking.

As Manchester Police continue their efforts to crack down on theft, they are actively searching for a suspect involved in another theft on Nov. 28 at Market Square Jewelers on Elm Street.

The suspect, identified as 42-year-old Timothy Maclean of Manchester, allegedly asked to see gold rope chains and cross pendants before seizing one and leaving the store.

There is an active warrant for Maclean’s arrest on charges of Theft by Unauthorized Taking.

Manchester Police are urging anyone with information on Maclean’s whereabouts to contact Manchester Police Detective Andrew Choi at 603-792-5514.
