Moultonborough police locate missing juvenile safely in Rochester

MOULTONBOROUGH — A 14-year-old juvenile reported missing early this morning was found safe this afternoon in Rochester, according to local authorities.

The Moultonborough Police Department mobilized a search after receiving the report of the missing child.

Officer Harold Chastain was the first to respond, taking the initial report and commencing the search.

Lieutenant Mark Cavic later joined the effort to locate the juvenile.

Support from the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, New Hampshire State Police, and Sandwich Police Department was instrumental in the search.

The collaborative effort culminated in the successful location of the juvenile in Rochester.
