HOLBROOK — The Holbrook Police Department is currently investigating a shots fired incident that occurred late Friday night on Rockwood Street.
At around 10 p.m. on Dec. 8, officers were dispatched to the area after receiving multiple calls about gunshots.
Witnesses reported hearing a series of shots and saw a vehicle speeding away from the scene.
When authorities arrived, they found several bullet casings on the street and identified ballistic damage to two homes in the vicinity.
No injuries have been reported in relation to the gunfire.
An immediate investigation was launched, with detectives and the Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) unit arriving to gather evidence.
The situation remains an active investigation as police work to uncover details of the event.
