Poultney man arrested on domestic assault charges

POULTNEY — Troopers from the Vermont State Police – Rutland Barracks responded to a report of domestic disturbance on Bentley Avenue at approximately 8:46 p.m. on Dec. 7.

Matthew Fuller, 43, of Poultney, was arrested after an investigation determined he caused bodily injury to a family or household member.

Fuller was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Vermont State Police Rutland Barracks for processing.

Following the arrest, Fuller was released with court-ordered conditions pending his appearance in court to face the charges.

The Vermont State Police has not released the name of the victim, in accordance with their policy on incidents of domestic or sexual assault.
