New Boston police seek to identify possible impersonator who attempted traffic stop

NEW BOSTON — Authorities are investigating a report of a suspected police impersonator who reportedly tried to pull over a young driver in the area on Sept. 12.

The New Boston Police Department (NBPD) is asking for the public’s help to identify a vehicle connected to the incident.

The vehicle in question was seen in the vicinity at the time the report was made.

Officer James Fulton is leading the investigation and urges anyone with information about the vehicle or the driver to come forward.

The NBPD has expressed gratitude in advance for any assistance the public can provide.
