Boston police arrests most wanted suspect on multiple charges

BOSTON — Officers apprehended a most wanted suspect on Thursday afternoon, following through on an outstanding warrant.

At approximately 2:50 p.m. on Dec. 7, police arrested 34-year-old Sherree Swindell near 10 Dewey Street in Roxbury.

Swindell, who was on the Boston Police Department’s Most Wanted List, faced warrants issued from the Boston Municipal Court, including charges for malicious destruction of property, possession of burglarious instruments, carrying a dangerous weapon, and threats to commit a crime.

Additionally, Swindell had an outstanding warrant from Roxbury District Court for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

The capture of Swindell, who is a Roxbury resident, is expected to lead to an arraignment in Roxbury District Court.
