SUDBURY — A two-vehicle collision on Burr Pond Road near Haley’s Acres on Dec. 7 left one person with minor injuries, according to the Vermont State Police.

Troopers from the Rutland Barracks responded to the scene at around 9:28 a.m. to find a 2010 Honda Accord with major damage to its left fender and a 2005 Hyundai Tucson with significant damage to its left quarter panel.

The crash occurred when a 17-year-old driver from Brandon, operating the Honda westbound, failed to maintain her lane and collided with the Hyundai driven by Christopher Hornbeck, 29, of Shoreham, who was traveling eastbound.

Both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the incident.

Oconnell did not sustain any injuries, while Hornbeck reported minor leg pain but did not require hospitalization.

The weather was cloudy, and road conditions were reported as normal.
