Winooski man arrested on DUI-drug charge on I-91

ROCKINGHAM — A Vermont State Police trooper arrested a 40-year-old Winooski man on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs after a traffic stop on Interstate 91 southbound near mile marker 35 early Tuesday morning.

According to the Vermont State Police, Justin Finnegan was pulled over at 12:24 a.m. for multiple traffic violations.

During the traffic stop, Finnegan exhibited signs of impairment and was subjected to a roadside screening.

Finnegan was taken into custody and transported to the Wilmington Police Department, where a Drug Recognition Expert evaluated him further.

After processing, Finnegan was released with a citation ordering him to appear in the Vermont Superior Court Windham Criminal Division on Feb. 20 at 8:30 a.m. to face charges for the incident.
