Concord man arrested on cocaine possession warrant

ST. JOHNSBURY — Police arrested a 41-year-old man on an outstanding warrant related to cocaine possession.

At approximately 4:17 p.m. on Dec. 6, police were patrolling US-2 when they spotted Timothy Briggs, who was known to be wanted, sitting in a parked car at 2165 Portland St. Upon confirming his identity, Briggs was detained without incident.

The warrant for Briggs, a Concord resident, was issued for failing to appear in court on charges of cocaine possession.

Following his arrest, Briggs was taken to the Northeast Correctional Complex and held on $200 bail.
