Hinesburg man arrested on warrant after disturbance

HINESBURG — Troopers from the Williston Barracks arrested a South Burlington man on an active warrant following a disturbance at a local convenience store on Saturday evening.

At 7:42 p.m., officers responded to the Hinesburg Jolly on Shelburne Falls Road.

Upon arrival, they encountered Tony Larock, 32, who was involved in the incident.

Larock was discovered to have an outstanding instate warrant for contempt of court.

He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Northwest State Correctional Facility where he will remain until he meets the court ordered criteria for release.

The Vermont State Police have not disclosed further details about the disturbance that led to Larock’s arrest.
