PITTSFORD — A severe two-vehicle crash occurred today at approximately 3:04 p.m. on US Route 7 in Pittsford, near Casella’s.

The incident involved a 2023 Freightliner tractor-trailer operated by Nathan A. Cohn, 33, of Ferrisburgh, and a 2010 Toyota Prius driven by Daniel J. Davidson, 44, of Rutland.

The preliminary investigation by the Vermont State Police indicates that Cohn was attempting a left turn to travel north on US Route 7 while Davidson was traveling south.
