MANCHESTER — A Manchester man has been taken into custody for his alleged involvement in two separate armed robberies that took place on the morning of Nov. 24.

Kristofer White, 31, was arrested after Manchester Police investigated the robberies at Z&J Market on Bridge Street and Union St. Market on Union Street.

The first incident occurred at 9:30 a.m., where a clerk reported that a man, after approaching the counter with food items, brandished a revolver, pointed it at him, and demanded money.

The second robbery took place around 11:30 a.m., involving a suspect who matched the description from the earlier crime.

Employees at Union St. Market described a white male who grabbed items, approached the counter, and then produced what appeared to be a revolver before demanding cash.

Following several tips and a thorough investigation, police identified White as the suspect.

A warrant for his arrest was issued, and he has been charged with robbery.

White is currently being held on preventative detention awaiting his next court hearing.
