Dudley police seek suspect in Dollar General armed robbery

DUDLEY — Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an armed robbery at the Dollar General store last night.

At approximately 8:07 p.m., the Dudley Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery at the retail location.

According to authorities, the suspect brandished a firearm and demanded cash from the store’s register.

After obtaining an undetermined amount of money, the individual fled the scene on foot, taking a left turn out of the Dollar General.

The police have released a photo of the suspect and are urging anyone with information or who may have security camera footage from the Central Ave area to come forward.

Sgt. Remillard and Officer Tyler Smith have been assigned to investigate the incident.

The department has not released any additional details about the suspect at this time.
