CLAREMONT — The Claremont Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an alleged theft and subsequent pursuit on Saturday.
According to authorities, the incident occurred at the local Walmart on Nov. 25.
The suspect reportedly stole from the store and then fled when officers tried to apprehend him.
The pursuit ensued, but the officers had to terminate the chase as the suspect crossed over into Vermont.
The suspect was last seen driving a newer model silver Dodge Ram 1500 truck with Vermont license plates.
The Claremont Police Department has released photos of the suspect and is seeking help from anyone who might have information about the individual’s identity.
