LITTLETON — A tractor-trailer operator lost control of their vehicle on I-93 northbound early Wednesday morning, resulting in a rollover accident that closed the highway just south of Exit 42.
The incident occurred at approximately 7:13 a.m. when the operator, carrying a full load, was negotiating a turn and struck the guardrail due to traveling too fast for the existing road conditions.
The tractor-trailer subsequently rolled over, leading to minor injuries for the operator.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
Authorities have cited the operator for excessive speed given the roadway conditions.
Cleanup crews and emergency services responded to the scene, and a detour was established for northbound traffic.
