Lawrence police, state unit seize narcotics, arrest man on trafficking charges

LAWRENCE — In a collaborative effort to tackle illegal drug activities, the Lawrence Police Department’s Street Narcotics Enforcement Unit and the Massachusetts State Police Gang Unit executed a search warrant on High Street, seizing a significant quantity of narcotics.

The search, which took place after a lengthy investigation, led to the arrest of a 27-year-old Lawrence man.

He faces charges including Drug Possession with Intent to Distribute and Drug Trafficking.

The suspect is scheduled for arraignment at the Lawrence District Court.

The successful operation is part of ongoing measures to improve the quality of life within the city by addressing issues such as narcotics sales, prostitution, and outstanding warrants.
