SPRINGFIELD — A Vermont State Trooper clocked a vehicle traveling at double the posted speed limit on VT Route 11 on Nov. 20, leading to a citation for a White River Junction woman.
At approximately 4:36 p.m., the trooper observed the vehicle speeding and pursued it as it reached speeds of 80 mph in a 40 mph zone.
After a traffic stop, the driver was identified as 30-year-old Brianna Russo.
Russo was issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court Windsor Criminal Division on Jan. 23 to answer to the charge of Excessive Speed.
