CHELSEA — Vermont State Police are investigating a burglary and shooting at Will’s Store and WRC Performance Products that occurred around 1:45 a.m. on Nov. 20.

Upon arriving for work, employees discovered bullet holes in the windows and an unauthorized entry into Will’s Store through the front window.

The intruder made off with an assortment of items, including beer and cigarettes.

Fortunately, there were no injuries reported in connection with the incident.

During the investigation, troopers located a .22 Short cartridge by the Chelsea Library.

It is believed that the suspect fired three shots into the storefronts around the same time they were burglarized.

Recovered evidence and surveillance footage from the area suggest a single suspect was involved, observed moving from the library’s direction toward Will’s Store.

Authorities have released two videos depicting the suspect on the Vermont State Police’s Flickr page.

The police are urging anyone with information about the suspect or the incident to reach out to Trooper Brian Jordan at the Royalton Barracks by calling 802-234-9933.
