RUSSELL — Police were called to the scene of a single-vehicle accident on Lambson Road yesterday at approximately 3:25 p.m., where a car had left the roadway and rolled down a steep embankment into a wooded area.
Russell-Montgomery Police, with the aid of Massachusetts State Police, responded to the incident and found the vehicle in the woods.
Despite the potential for serious harm, the driver of the vehicle was unharmed.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation by the Russell-Montgomery Police Department.
Authorities have not yet provided further details about the incident or the driver’s identity.
Officials extended their gratitude to the Huntington Fire Department for their support during the response to the accident.
