FAIRLEE — Troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks are investigating a series of mailbox vandalism incidents at the intersection of King Hill Rd and Middlebrook Road reported on Nov. 16.
The destruction was discovered on Wednesday morning, and the unlawful mischief is believed to have taken place between 6:45 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Nov. 15.
Several homeowners reported their mailboxes were either destroyed or significantly damaged.
Authorities have not yet identified any suspects and are seeking assistance from the public.
Trooper Rodzel is asking anyone with information regarding the vandalism to come forward and contact the St. Johnsbury Barracks at 802-222-4680.
