Boston police seek public’s help identifying larceny suspect

BOSTON — Detectives from the Boston Police Department’s District A-1 are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying an individual involved in a recent larceny incident.

The theft occurred in the vicinity of DeFilippo Park, where the suspect reportedly stole camera equipment.

The individual sought is described as a light-skinned male with short hair and a heavy build.

He was last seen wearing a waist-length dark-colored jacket, blue pants, and hiking boots.

Surveillance footage captured the suspect placing the camera equipment around his neck before concealing it beneath his jacket.

He was last observed walking down Prince Street toward Commercial Street, then turning left onto La Fayette Avenue.

The Boston Police Department is diligently investigating the circumstances of the incident.
