Boston police arrest suspect from BPD Most Wanted List

BOSTON — Officers from the Boston Police Department’s District C-11 in Dorchester successfully apprehended Rebecca Savickas, a 42-year-old local resident, at approximately 1:48 p.m. on Thursday in connection with multiple outstanding warrants.

The arrest occurred in the vicinity of 11 Glendale Street where Savickas, who had been prominently featured on the BPD Most Wanted List, was taken into custody without incident.

She was sought by authorities for charges that include assault and battery on a person over 60 or disabled stemming from an incident in Dorchester District, as well as assault with a dangerous weapon and larceny from a person as per Roxbury District Court warrants.

Savickas is scheduled for arraignment at Dorchester District Court where she will face the charges detailed in the outstanding warrants.

The Boston Police Department has not released further details about the arrest or the circumstances that led to her inclusion on the Most Wanted List.
