Rutland man victim of burglary, police seek information

RUTLAND — A burglary was reported at a residence on Pleasant Street on Monday evening, according to the Vermont State Police.

Jason Picard, 41, of Pleasant Street, was the victim of a break-in at his home.

Authorities were alerted to the incident at approximately 5:58 p.m.

The investigation conducted by the Vermont State Police Rutland Barracks revealed that an unknown perpetrator had forcibly entered Picard’s residence and stolen property.

The Vermont State Police are asking for the public’s assistance in gathering information about the burglary.
