Three injured in Hudson crash involving three vehicles

HUDSON — A three-vehicle collision on Central Street/Route 111 near Hamblett Avenue led to minor injuries and a traffic citation early today, authorities said.

Hudson Police officers and Hudson Fire Department firefighters and EMTs responded to the scene at 7:39 a.m. after receiving reports of an accident.

They discovered one vehicle had careened down the shoulder embankment of Rt. 111.

The involved vehicles were identified as a 2018 Kia Sportage, a 2022 Nissan Sentra, and a 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe.

The driver of the Kia, Thomas Jackson, 35, of Nashua, NH, was heading west on Rt. 111 when he failed to stop for the traffic halted at the Greeley Street intersection, according to the preliminary investigation by the Hudson Police Department.

Three individuals, including a juvenile, were transported to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center with minor injuries.

Jackson was cited for Following Too Closely, police said.
