Boston police seek public’s help in identifying suspects in Jamaica Plain canine shooting

BOSTON — Boston Police Department detectives from District E-13 are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying several individuals and a motor vehicle connected to the fatal shooting of a dog.

The incident occurred around 4:17 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 19, in the vicinity of 279 Centre Street in Jamaica Plain.

In the aftermath of the shooting, the BPD is rigorously examining the evidence and details of the event.

Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward and contact the District E-13 detectives at (617) 343-5628 to aid in the investigation.

To ensure privacy and security, the Boston Police Department assures that the identities of individuals providing tips will be zealously protected.
