BRADFORD — An 18-year-old from Concord was arrested early Sunday morning on suspicion of driving under the influence on Interstate 91, according to the Vermont State Police.

Troopers conducting patrol along I-91 north observed a vehicle ignore a stop sign in a construction zone near Exit 16 around 2:24 a.m. The vehicle was seen weaving between lanes as it continued northward.

After stopping the vehicle near mile marker 102.6, troopers made contact with the juvenile driver and noted signs of impairment.

An investigation concluded that the teen was operating the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

The accused was taken into custody, processed at the St. Johnsbury Barracks, and cited to appear in Orange County Superior Court to face DUI charges.
