Waterbury crash leaves Porsche totaled

WATERBURY — On Nov. 11, a single-vehicle accident resulted in a totaled Porsche but no injuries, according to the Vermont State Police.

At 3:33 p.m., police responded to a report of a vehicle in a ditch off Waterbury-Stowe Rd, near the popular Ben and Jerry’s landmark.

The driver, Andrew Adelson, 65, from Westmount, QC, was traveling northbound in his 2018 Porsche Macan when he veered off the road.

Adelson, who was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident, did not report any injuries.

The vehicle sustained severe damage and was deemed a total loss.

The road conditions were dry and the weather cloudy, which is not currently considered a factor in the crash.

The Vermont State Police were supported by the Waterbury Fire Department and Blackfork Towing from Richmond at the scene.

The cause of the incident is under investigation.
