RUTLAND — Vermont State Police arrested a local woman on multiple charges including possession of cocaine and providing false information following a traffic stop Saturday evening.
Amy Mollison, 32, of Rutland, was pulled over by troopers at approximately 5:58 p.m. on State Street for a vehicle violation.
During the stop, troopers detected signs of drug activity, prompting a call for a K9 unit and the seizure of the vehicle pending a search warrant.
Mollison was also detained pending the warrant, which was later granted by the court.
A subsequent search revealed evidence of drugs on her person and in the vehicle.
