PUTNEY — Vermont State Police arrested a 24-year-old man from Springfield on an active arrest warrant following a traffic stop on Interstate 91 on Nov. 10.
Troopers conducting the stop at 10:26 p.m. identified the driver as Justin Beam, who was wanted for simple assault.
After the traffic stop and investigation, Beam was taken to the Westminster Barracks for processing.
Beam was subsequently lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility.
He is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court Windham Criminal Division on Nov. 13 at 12:30 p.m.
