Marlboro hit-and-run damages local business, police seek information

MARLBORO — A hit-and-run incident at a local business has prompted an investigation by the Vermont State Police, authorities said.

On April 11, at approximately 5:03 p.m., a 2003 silver Subaru Forester with a male operator and a female passenger pulled into Marlboro Collision and Towing on VT Route 9.

After both occupants exited the vehicle, it rolled backwards into a garage door, causing significant damage.

The occupants left the scene without making contact with the business owner to report the incident.

The Vermont State Police-Westminster Barracks is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals involved.
