Drug bust in Roxbury nets fentanyl and cocaind, two arrested

ROXBURY — Officers from the Drug Control Units of District D-4 and District E-5, along with the Human Trafficking Unit, arrested two men on drug trafficking charges following the execution of search warrants on Friday at approximately 12:09 p.m.

During the operation at 111 Homestead Street, officers seized around 95 grams of fentanyl, 237 grams of crack cocaine, various pills totaling 67 in number, six bags of marijuana, and $4,033 in cash.

A firearm, identified as a Sig Sauer P365 with a magazine holding 11 rounds, was also recovered at the scene.

The suspects, Keon Leary, 44, of Boston, and Christopher Brown, 56, of Roxbury, face numerous charges related to drug trafficking and firearms possession.

Leary’s charges include trafficking of class A and B substances, unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition, possession of a large capacity feeding device, and intent to distribute class B, C, and D drugs.

Brown is charged with trafficking class A and B substances and possession with intent to distribute class B, C, and D drugs.

Both men are scheduled for arraignment in Roxbury District Court.
