State police seek public’s help to find truck in Bakersfield negligent operation case

BAKERSFIELD — State Police are asking for the public’s assistance to locate a truck involved in a negligent operation incident on Nov. 8.

At approximately 9:47 a.m., a trooper attempted to stop the vehicle for a motor vehicle violation on Rt 108, near the intersection of Boston Post Rd and Witchcat Road.

The truck, described as a black 2016-2018 Chevrolet Silverado with Vermont registration, evaded the stop and was last seen speeding down Witchcat Road.

Authorities noted that the truck had some type of equipment, possibly red in color, in its bed.

Investigators are working to identify the operator of the truck.

People with information are encouraged to contact the Vermont State Police at the St. Albans barracks.
