MORRISVILLE –– A police operation that unfolded on Center Road concluded Monday with no arrests made and no injuries reported.

A statement released by the Vermont State Police indicated that while the operation has ended, a reduced number of officers remain on site to process the scene.

Authorities have not disclosed the nature of the operation, citing the importance of maintaining the integrity of the ongoing investigation.

Earlier in the day, the Vermont State Police announced they were conducting an operation as part of a larger investigation.

The operation involved multiple units, including the Tactical Services Unit, Crisis Negotiation Unit, and Unmanned Aircraft Systems Program.

Residents had been advised to stay clear of the area during the police activity.

The police reassured the community that there was no broader threat to public safety associated with the operation.

As the situation has de-escalated, further information is expected to be released as the investigation progresses.
