HOLYOKE –– The Holyoke Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in the fraudulent use of a credit card, according to a statement released by the department.

The case involves an individual who reportedly used the credit card under false pretenses.

Authorities have not released specific details about the incident or how the credit card was fraudulently used.

Members of the community with any information are urged to contact the Criminal Investigations Bureau.

Additionally, tips can be submitted anonymously through the Text-A-Tip service by texting SOLVE plus a message to 274637 from a cell phone.

The Holyoke Police Department emphasizes that tipsters may remain anonymous if they choose.

They are hopeful that community assistance will lead to the successful identification and apprehension of the suspect involved in this crime.
