FAIRFAX –– A Franklin man and his passenger were transported to the hospital with injuries following a single-vehicle crash on Buck Hollow Road, according to the Vermont State Police.

The crash occurred on Nov. 3 around 6:53 p.m. when Jesse Gagne, 42, lost control of his 2001 Toyota Tacoma after one of the tires went flat while going downhill.

The vehicle rolled over several times before ending up in a ditch, police said.

Both Gagne and his passenger, Hillary Lefebvre, 31, of Enosburgh, were not wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.

They were taken to the University of Vermont Medical Center with injuries to their head and arms.
