Suspicious individuals reported in Wilmington’s Chimney Hill area

WILMINGTON –– Local law enforcement received a report of suspicious activity on November 4, at approximately 5:58 p.m.

The Wilmington Police Department was alerted to two individuals in the Chimney Hill area, who allegedly claimed to be conducting a home inspection.

According to the report, a male and a female subject approached a local residence, asserting their intent to perform an inspection.

However, the homeowner denied them entry and they subsequently departed the scene in a white sedan.

The complainant described the female suspect as white, in her mid-30s, with shoulder-length blonde hair and a lip piercing.

The male suspect is described as a heavy-set black man, also in his mid-30s.

Their vehicle has been identified as a white sedan, possibly a mid-2010s Subaru Legacy, notable for its black rims.

The registration plate number remains unknown.

The Wilmington Police Department is seeking any information regarding this incident or the subjects involved.
