RICHFORD — A 35-year-old man was arrested following an incident in Richford yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of an assault that took place on North Branch Road at around 3:35 p.m.
At the time of the call, the parties were separated.
Following an investigation, police allege that Philip Muir, of Richford, assaulted a family member.
Muir was located, arrested, and brought to the St. Albans barracks for processing without incident.
He was transported to Northwest State Correctional Facility and held on $2,500 bail.
He was cited to appear in court on November 6 to answer for the charges of domestic assault and persons prohibited from possessing firearms.
