Woman arrested over theft of $2,000 worth of vinyl records from Nashua bookstore

NASHUA –– A Massachusetts woman has been arrested in connection with the theft of vinyl records worth more than $2,000 from a Barnes and Noble store in Nashua, according to local police.

Ashley Baker, 36, of North Attleboro, Massachusetts, was arrested on a felony warrant for Theft By Unauthorized Taking, the Nashua Police Department announced.

Police officers received a report from the store, located at 235 Daniel Webster Highway, on September 12, 2023, about a theft that had occurred ten days earlier.

The report detailed how a man and a woman, believed to be accomplices, had stolen multiple vinyl records.

Detectives assigned to the case were able to identify the female suspect as Baker.

Following her arrest, Baker was transported to the Hillsborough County House of Corrections in Manchester.

She is set to be arraigned on November 2, 2023, at the Hillsborough County Superior Court – Southern District.
