HIGHGATE — A 58-year-old man is facing charges following an incident in Highgate back in September.

Authorities say they were notified of a dispute between neighbors on Misty Meadows at around 7:15 a.m. on September 24.

Police allege that Joseph Franolich, of Highgate, displayed a firearm during this dispute.

Franolich was found to be prohibited from possessing firearms due to violent crime convictions including domestic assault.

Yesterday, a search warrant was conducted at Franolich’s home, at which time multiple firearms were seized.

He was cited for the charges and is scheduled to be arraigned in court on November 21.
