Burglary in Chelsea

CHELSEA — Police are investigating a burglary that occurred in Chelsea today.

Authorities were notified of a burglary complaint at a home on Brook Road at around 12:40 p.m.

Homeowner Warren Ostendorf told police that several items were stolen from his cabin home.

Among those items were an orange generator brand named Generac, a Mr. Heater Contractor portable heater, an Estwing brand Axe, as well as Estwing brand hatchets.

Police say Ostendorf last observed his residence undisturbed on October 14.

Forced entry was believed to be made through a window which was found broken.
