Manchester police seek vandals who damaged newly planted trees

MANCHESTER –– Police are seeking information on the individuals responsible for vandalizing newly planted trees on Elm Street.

The damage occurred between 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 23 and 7 a.m. on Oct. 24 in front of 1217 Elm Street.

The trees, recently planted along the city street, were snapped in half and several branches were broken off.

The Manchester Police are urging anyone with information about this act of criminal mischief to come forward.

Witnesses, especially those who may have seen suspicious activities during the mentioned timeframe, are encouraged to help with the ongoing investigation.
