Two-vehicle crash with injuries in Sudbury

SUDBURY — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash with injuries in Sudbury yesterday.

The crash took place on Vermont Route 30, near Schoolhouse Road, at around 7:10 p.m.

According to the report, Richard Maddaloni, 65, of Arlington, was headed south and crossed the double yellow center line and sideswiped Gary Wolfinger, 63, of Greencastle, PA.

Maddaloni was transported to Rutland Regional Medical Center for further evaluation of his injuries.

Traffic was reduced to a single lane during the crash investigation and road cleanup.

Police say Whiting Fire Department and Brandon Rescue Squad assisted troopers on the scene.
