ST. JOHNSBURY — A 45-year-old man was arrested on a warrant in St. Johnsbury yesterday.
Police say they observed a motor vehicle violation while patrolling the area of US 5 and the Green Mountain Mall at around 7:50 p.m.
Police initiated a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Sean Stearns, of St. Johnsbury.
Police say that Stearns was wanted on an outstanding warrant.
He was taken into custody and transported to Northeast Correctional Complex.
He was held on a $100 bail.
