PANTON — A 46-year-old man from Florida was arrested for DUI following a crash in Panton yesterday.
The crash took place on Panton Road at around 11:45 p.m.
The driver was identified as William Cash, of Plantation, FL.
While speaking to Cash, police say they observed indicators of impairment and he was screened for DUI.
He was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI and transported to the New Haven State Police barracks for processing.
He was later released to a sober party with a citation to appear in court at a later date.
